A vacancy has arisen within our Sales department, based in Head Office Ballyclare, to join our dynamic team within a progressive and growing business, working on an exciting portfolio of projects.
We are looking for creative, hard-working Landscape graduate or recently qualified Landscape Architect to join our busy and expanding design and build company to work alongside our senior Landscape Architect and construction team.
The candidate will be involved in wide range of projects for commercial and public sector and private clients through all stages of design and assist during the construction stage.
The candidate needs to have the ability to undertake site surveys, produce drawings and documents related to the design process including master plans, detail and working drawings, planting plans/schedules and other related documentation required for the implementation of project by our in-house construction team.
The candidate will need to demonstrate good presentation skills, a practical outlook, show good observation skills and an eye for detail and design.
Job duties will include:-
Ø Undertaking site visits & surveys
Ø Assisting in the production of landscape design schemes for commercial, public and private clients
Ø Production of supporting visualisations and graphics
Ø Assisting in preparation of cost estimates
Ø Assisting in preparation of detail info for our in-house construction team
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated with the following experience.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
§ A BA Hons degree in Landscape Architecture
§ Demonstrate a high standard of graphic presentation and design abilities
§ Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and/or KeyScape
§ Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite or similar programmes
§ Possess manual drawing skills
§ Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office programmes
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills
§ Current clean driving licence
§ Flexibility to travel when required
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
§ Previous experience in a similar role
§ Good plant knowledge
